Magnetic drums are made up of a core, magnetic by 180°. This core can be set up and is located inside a rotating non-magnetic casing called "cover". Detachment and elimination of the ferrous parts take place in the stretch facing the magnetic field.
These drums are suitable for the continue and automatic separation of small, medium and large ferrous parts.
They are usually installed on the conveyors drain, no matter they are made up of belts, chutes or plates.
Mainly supplied with Ferrite magnets, magnetic drums can be produced with Neodymium magnets where higher attraction force is needed.
